Patterned Flare and Bell Bottom Leggings
You can really make a statement with a pair of funky patterned flares, regardless of what you are wearing on top. Yoga Democracy is one of our most favorite brands that releases different prints regularly with matching sports bras or tanks if you want a complete set. They are all made by hand out of Arizona from recycled water bottles, which makes us love them that much more.
High Waisted Flares and Bell Bottoms
Most all of the bell bottoms are made with a high waist for two reasons. 1) It is on trend with everything being high-waisted these days, and 2) you don't have any of the dreaded muffin top that no one wants. What pairs well with a high rise is a crop top or just at least a 1” mid dift so you can show off those curves. What we love is pairing a classic bell with a flowy Free People tank top or pullover—perfect combo!
Classic Black Flares and Bell Bottoms
You can never go wrong throwing on a classic pair of black flares or bell bottoms to complete your outfit. Our favorite black flares are from Teeki, Hard Tail, and Beyond Yoga. All three of these brands are made in the USA from premium materials, so you can't go wrong to find your new favorite staple black flare. If you are looking for a flattering pocket, Beyond Yoga is the way to go. Both the Teeki and Hardtail Bell Bottoms can be cut to your perfect length without needing to hem them. Any black flares you have will be sure to be a go-to staple item in your closet that you’ll find yourself wearing over and over.

Beyond Yoga uses a specific sueded cotton feel to their fabric that feels like cotton but has the stretch, compression, and performance of activewear.

These leggings are awesome. They have a cotton-feel which is super-comfy. I sized down per the reviews which was accurate. The fabric is FORMA101 and unfortunately I don’t think Glyder uses this fabric anymore. I bought a new pair of their leggings and was really disappointed by how thin, cheap and ill fitting they were. If you can find a pair of these and you prefer a more natural feeling fabric I recommend getting a pair!

Comfiest sweat pants ever
I love the varley double soft fabric. I really like the color of these sweatpants and was excited to find a good deal on Evolve for this brand. They are cuffed at the ankle which could annoy someone that doesn’t like that feel. True to size- I am normally a size 6-8 and ordered these in medium. Definitely recommend!

I have acquired a few of these Kyoto leggings after initially purchasing the black in Small. Although they were somewhat hard to pull on at first - even a little long - I would order the same size since mine have softened over the years and become more pliable. For some reason, in the other colors, they have not fit as well or the quality has not been up to par.
So I am hoping after many years to find my new Black Kyoto's to be as great as the ones that I am still wearing. It's always good to have two pairs of your favorite tights around. Amazing for daily use in California all. year. around. For the records, I am 90 yrs. old, formerly athletic. 115-120 lbs. Off and on stage actor and still. FP was and still is my style!
