Yoga Democracy was created with the intent to bring beautifully designed, environmentally conscious clothing to the yoga community. All of their items are made from a fabric using recycled water bottles and turning it into a swimsuit-type material that is great for yoga or a sweaty workout. Every order made is printed and sewn in Carefree, AZ. 

The Yoga Democracy Story

Yoga Democracy founders Haley and her partner Travis have a mission to clean up ocean pollution and turn waste into something usable. Based on their strong beliefs in environmental activism and their mission to fight fast fashion, Yoga Democracy draws from the principle of Ahimsa, meaning to cause no harm. Yoga Democracy’s fabric is made from post-consumer recycled plastic and nylon from fishing nets. They use a no-water dyeing process that cuts down on waste. They take every scrap of material that passes through their shop and turn it into something of use and beauty. The garments are all made in the USA, in the small town of Carefree, AZ.

These are some of our most popular printed leggings on the website. One of the best things about Yoga Democracy leggings is that they come in two length options—a standard 28” inseam and an x-long 32” inseam. Standard 28” is what “most” leggings come in—that will hit around the ankle for an average size of 5’ 6”. For those with extra-long legs, the 32” inseam option will be your best option. Yoga Democracy Sizing 

Most of our customers say that their Yoga Democracy items run true to size. If you are in between sizes and don't know what size to choose, we recommend sizing up. A typical size XS = 0-2, S = 2-4, M = 6-8, L = 8-10, XL = 12, XXL =14
