The Kavala Collective Story

The owner Kelsey Goodwin is originally from Connecticut, but has spent the last few years living and traveling in between the US, Australia and Bali and currently calls Sydney her home. She grew up preparing to work on Wall Street, and when she got there, she realized it wasn’t her passion at all. She left all of that behind and flew across the world to Bali to do her yoga teacher training, and has never looked back. She created Kavala Collective out of passion during her travels when she wanted standout activewear she could wear from the yoga to surf. She is a yoga teacher and an avid surfer, and spends most of her free time chasing the sun, surf and exploring new tropical places at every possible opportunity.

Why We Love Kavala Collective

Kavala uses an amazing material that hugs everything in, lifts and supports you during your workouts. The cuts on her leggings are extremely flattering - with a high rise waistband and tummy control that is comfortable yet slimming. Their sports bras are cut in a way that are flattering to the arms and all have removable pads. Plus- did we mention the prints? So delicate, fun and adorable!

Kavala Collective primarily just releases matching sets of printed leggings & a sports bra to match. The material is a swim-suit material (also used for her famous swim collection) - that dries quickly and made for the ocean, SUP or surf. So if you are looking for something for hot yoga, this is for you!. All of the leggings are the same style - just different patterns. The crop top sports bras are made to co with the printed leggings or mix and match for a sassy set.

Her most popular leopard legging is by far an Instagram favorite. With beautiful floral prints that give serious vacation vibes, you’ll feel as effortlessly blissful as you look. Most of the prints have a matching sports bra to match in a combination of different adjustable strap options. 

Kavala Collective Yoga Sports Bras

We are totally in love with her sports bras- they are flattering for the arms and are so comfortable and supportive. All of her bras come with removable pads so if you need the extra shaping, you have that option. One thing we have noticed is that her bras have very little (if at all) overspill area in the armpit area (that is never flattering). So we give all the Kavala Sports Bras a 5-Star rating!   

Kavala Collective Sizing 

We rarely ever get returns on Kaval Collective - they run very true to size according to most customers. An XS = 0-2, S = 4-6, M= 8-10, L = 12, XL = 14
