Loved...but came with a flaw

I received this yoga wheel for my birthday and I love it. It is super strong, heavier and sturdier than I expected and has been a great tool for backbends. I was bummed a little because at the seam where the sticky mat ends meet on the wheel, there is some adhesive that doesn't want to come off. I'm worried that it will not wear well.
