The Beyond Yoga Story

Their clothing is made for curves and movement to and from your practice and beyond.  The brand was created by founder Jodi Guber Brufsky back in 2001. Jodi wanted to create yoga clothes designed for women who believe that comfort and style go hand in hand. 

Each piece is made in the USA from buttery soft cotton-like fabric. They have manufactured clothing out of Los Angeles, CA, since the beginning and are one of our top 6 USA Made Clothing brands! Their clothing feels a lot like soft sueded cotton but has the elasticity to bounce back into the original shape. You can wash and wear their pieces hundreds of times without it changing the fabric's shape or feel. Beyond Yoga is a well-known favorite brand among yoga instructors and yogis alike. The pieces are so easy to transition from yoga to errands to lounging around the house. Beyond Yoga’s attention to detail, like a super comfy “tummy control” waistband, smooths out your waist and adds a little lift in the right areas. Most Popular Beyond Yoga Clothing Products

Many of the most popular products from Beyond Yoga contain their patent Spacedye fabric. It typically is a heathered blend of two colors—you can barely notice, but if you look close, you will see two different woven fabrics woven together to make their spacedye color that is unique to Beyond Yoga. 

Beyond Yoga Leggings

All of the Beyond Yoga leggings contain a soft gusset for freedom of movement and flat lock stitching so there is no extra bulge in the fabric where stitching comes together. The Take Me Higher Long Legging is one of their most popular ankle-length leggings with aprox. 29" inseam. The shorter 7.8 version of this legging is called the "Caught in the Midi Legging" that hits just above the ankle at around 26" inseam. Both have the same high-rise waistband, flatlock stitching, and comfortable gusset. 

Beyond Yoga Pants

Two of the most popular black yoga pants we sell are both from Beyond Yoga. A customer staple for over 10 years has been the High Waisted Practice Pant that is perfect for all activities and has more of a slight flare at the bottom. A newbie this year is the more flared version of the Practice pant called the High Waisted All Day Flare Pant - a little more sassy!

By far, one of our most popular yoga sports bras offered on the website is the Beyond Yoga Lift & Support Bra. The sports bra is a flattering racerback shape that shows off your shoulders. The bra has thin removable cups that shape cups—not flatten—and is one of our most popular sexy sports bras. Its not only a perfect yoga bra but also a great t-shirt bra as well. Another popular favorite is a cropped bra tank that is the Slim Racerback Cropped Tank that has thin racerback straps and a comfortable lightweight shelf bra.

Sizing Feedback: Beyond Yoga clothing previously ran a bit on the bigger side. Since 2017, they have updated their sizing. If you are used to sizing down for their pieces, you won’t need to any longer! Refer to the size chart found on each product page to compare your measurements. Look for the blue hyperlink next to the size options to view the size chart.
